This year Contemporary Pediatrics launched its inaugural Resident Writers Award program, where residents and fellows throughout the United States were invited to submit one of their most challenging cases, worked on during their residency or fellowship program.
Contemporary Pediatrics spoke with several of the entrants about why they submitted their particular cases and what best practices and takeaways were the result of treating their patient. In the next interview of the series, Allie Dayno, MD, MBA, PL2, who is a resident at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania discusses her case of a 4-month-old who presented with new onset strabismus. Dr. Dayno discusses how the case illustrated how multidisciplinary teams can help with diagnosing.
Fluoxetine helps refractory nocturnal enuresis but not for long
