As a follow-up to the conversation with Dr. Sharon Castellino about information PCPs need to know about leukemia and lymphoma, there are resources from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society that you can share with patients and caregivers.

This year, LLS’ children's book trilogy, “Stars Will Twinkle, The Sun Will Shine” (e-book version) was also recognized with a Digital Health Merit Award from National Health Awards in the book category. Through the Dare to Dream Project, we’re pioneering innovative research, safer, less toxic treatments, support services, and advocacy for kids with blood cancer.

In addition, LLS offers a wealth of resources and educational information to help children and adolescents and their families following a blood cancer diagnosis. Whether families need disease information, a calendar to track activities and appointments, to know how to handle school, nutrition advice, a way to talk about emotions, or survivorship information, LLS is here to help with publications,webcasts, and videos. LLS apps, LLS Coloring For Kids™allows children to express their creativity and offers activities to help them learn about blood cancer and its treatment while LLS Health Manager™ helps track side effects, medication, food and hydration, questions for your doctor, and more.
