Mumps breaks out in Iowa

Mumps has long been on the "vaccine-preventable" list, preventable by measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine. More recently, that protection has been bolstered by the recommended second shot of the MMR vaccine. Coverage levels are high and have been for decades.
