A portable table, minus the legs

CND Products LLC has a solution: a portable table. It screws onto a standard IV pole or rail in a few seconds, and opens to a 12"-by-15" counterbalanced surface. And unlike hinged foldout tables, these can be easily disinfected, or even popped in a dishwasher.

Keep an eye on the little ones, virtually

The Hugs 6 software from Stanley Healthcare uses a series of RFID tags, one per infant, to track their position. For security purposes, each infant's location is mapped onto a hospital floorplan, and updated every 10 seconds. And for coordination purposes, there's a virtual whiteboard, with common tasks given specialized icons for ease of use. All records can be accessed via custom reports.
