Contemporary Pediatrics® is excited to announce its first-ever Resident Writers Award Program. This competitive writing program provides pediatric residents the opportunity to submit a challenging case study for publication.
The case study should present a particularly intriguing pediatric case that the resident has been involved with, including a discussion of the diagnosis, final treatment, and follow-up. We are looking for approximately 1200 to 2500 words. When submitting your case study, please include the following: first and last name; your title; institution/medical school; email address; and phone number.
The first-place winner will be announced in October and the article will be featured on the cover of Contemporary Pediatrics® in an upcoming issue. Both the winner and the school residency program will be recognized for their efforts in the Contemporary Pediatrics® journal and website, and at a special ceremony (details to come). Additionally, all submissions deemed credible will be published online at contemporarypediatrics.com.
To be considered for this program, please submit your case study no later than August 13 to this address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
