Can children safely return to school? A webinar from MJH Life Sciences looks at the many questions that are brewing in the debate of safe school return.

Should schools reopen for in-person education? What about children who get meals through school or children who require certain educational resources? How will socialization be effected? There are many questions to be answered with the debate over returning to school during the COVID-19 pandemic. MJH Life Sciences is presenting a webinar “COVID-19: Debating the Road Back to School” on August 20, 2020, at 6 PM EDT.

The webinar will cover a number of topics including:

  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines
  • How to safely return to school
  • What to consider when counseling parents
  • Pro versus con of making the future COVID-19 vaccine onto the state-mandated immunizations list

The webinar will be moderated by will be Kathleen Kenny, PharmD, the president and CEO of Med Ink Exec. She will be joined by Donna Hallas, PhD, PPCNP-BC, CPNP, PMHS, FAANP, FAAN, a clinical professor and the director of the pediatric nurse practitioner program at NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing in New York City, and Paul Lipkin, MD, an associate professor of pediatrics at Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.
