Eye on Washington

February is the time the newly-elected 110^th Congress gets into its stride: The ceremonies are concluded, the State of the Union address has set out the President's program, and the legislative mills start to grind. It remains to be seen whether concern over the floundering Iraq war will leave any room at all to address a serious health care agenda.
