An updated Vaccine Information Sheet for the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4)is now available from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Memingococcal Vaccine Information Sheet Updated


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has updated its Meningococcal Vaccine Information Sheet (VIS) to reflect revised recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices for the Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (MCV4). The committee has recommended MCV4 for all children and adolescents ages 11 to 18 years. The updated VIS‚ in text or PDF format‚ can be found at www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/#mening. Translations of the VIS into other languages have not yet been updated to reflect the new recommendations.
