What's gained when the next generation shadows a pediatrician

Article

Opening your practice to allow pre-med and medical students to shadow you offers more than just benefits for them.

Andrew J. Schuman, MD, FAAP, clinical assistant professor of pediatrics, Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, in Lebanon, New Hampshire discusses how he mentors pre-med and medical students by allowing them to shadow him as a pediatrician throughout the day, and how it can offer not only a tonic from burnout, but pay it forward to future health care workers.
